The Aachara Senior Savings Account is specially created for senior citizens to support their unique financial needs. This account offers a range of features aimed at maximising convenience and earning potential, ensuring financial security and comfort for senior citizens.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age requirement: 55 years and above
- Residency: must be a resident of Sri Lanka
- Sri Lankan citizen employed abroad, resident outside Sri Lanka (excluding emigrants)
- Other Requirement: senior citizens receiving a monthly pension payment from the Department of Pensions Sri Lanka
The minimum deposit: The minimum deposit required to open the account is LKR 2,500. (Automatically a debit block for LKR 200 will be placed)
Joined accounts: permitted with another eligible individual
