The Savings Planner is a structured savings account designed to help customers meet their future financial goals. With features that support disciplined savings and flexible terms, this account is tailored for individuals planning for significant life events, such as education, vacations, or future investments.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement:
18 years and above.
Residency:
- Must be a resident of Sri Lanka.
- Sri Lankan citizen employed abroad, resident outside Sri Lanka (Excluding emigrants).
Product Features
- Joint Accounts: Permitted with another resident/a person who is eligible to open and maintain LKR Account.
- Maturity Date: Any date between 1-10 years.
- Due Date: One month from the opening date.
- Mode of Communication: e-statements.
- Sweep In/Out: Not allowed.
- Debit Cards:Not allowed.
- Cheques or Pay Orders: Not accepted.
- Lump Sum Amount:A deposit of a lump sum is allowed subject to a minimum of LKR 10,000/-. The lump sum and the first installment need to be deposited at the time of account opening.
