What You'll Need
  • Copy of the National Identity Card (NIC).
  • Sellers Letter (stating the selling price of land or residential property)/Sales agreement.
  • Employer letter (covering designation, salary, allowances, period of service).
  • Latest salary slips.
  • Bank statements for three months.

Legal Documents

  • Copies of the title deeds.
  • Copies of the plans.
  • Latest survey plan referred to in the Deed, approved by the Local Authority. If older than 10 years, a new survey plan is required (or a letter from the Local Authority).
  • Certified original extracts of the property for the last 25 years (obtained no more than one month prior to application).
  • Local Authority certificates (Street line / Non-Vesting and Ownership certificates) issued within the last six months.
  • Tax receipts/Assessment Notices.

In Case of Construction of a House

  • Approved Building plan (or a letter from the Local Authority).
  • Bill of quantities acceptable to the bank (for construction/extension).

Insurance

  • Mortgage Protection Policy (MPP) to cover the full loan amount, assigned to the Bank.
  • Fire insurance cover obtained and assigned to the Bank.
